Onboarding Specialist
ProGro Partners is growing again, and we are currently looking to hire a dedicated and detail-oriented Onboarding Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will guide new hires through a seamless remote onboarding process, ensuring new hires successfully integrate into our company. This position will work remotely with our Human Resources department during our “seasonal” busy season, March – June. This is a seasonal temporary position.
As an onboarding specialist, your exceptional communication skills will be vital in effectively communicating our company's culture, policies and procedures to newly hired employees.

Objectives of the role
Provide necessary information and resources for new employees while ensuring a smooth onboarding process
Coordinate and conduct new employee virtual meetings, providing an overview of the company's policies and procedures
Serve as a point of contact for new hires, addressing their questions and concerns and managing the onboarding process
Collaborate with the HR department, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition for new employees
Facilitate the completion of new hire paperwork, ADP onboarding tasks, initiating background checks, completing I-9 forms and other necessary documentation
Monitor the progress of new employees, identify any challenges and provide support as needed
Ensure completion of paperwork and follow all legal and administrative compliance when onboarding newly hired employees
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills to manage and streamline the onboarding process
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with new employees and establish a positive onboarding experience
Attention to detail and organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple onboarding processes simultaneously
Ability to collaborate and work effectively with remote team members
Must pass criminal background check
Preferred skills and qualifications
Proficiency in using and experience with different applicant tracking systems
Knowledge of Human Resources and/or knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to onboarding and employee documentation
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and general data entry
Previous customer service experience is beneficial
Ability to multitask and complete tasks autonomously
Ability to work flexible shift/schedule is advantageous
