Data Catalog with Alation Tool Experience Chicago ILFTERemote Required Experience:5+ years’ experience in Data Governance, data catalog, and data stewardshipDeep understanding of data governance capabilities including data catalog, data dictionary, business lineage, technical lineage and stewardship workflowsHands-on experience with configuration and maintenance of catalog tools such as Alation, Collibra, Informatica or similarHands-on experience with programing languages such as SQL, HTML, Java, Python and othersHands-on experience with on-boarding metadata from various sources including SQL Server, Oracle, Azure cloud and others.Understanding of cloud technologies such as Azure (preferable), google, AWS and snowflake.Understanding of ETL technologies such as Mulesoft, ADF, talend, SSISFamiliar with data quality practices and its integration with data catalogComfortable working independently and with other teams/vendors to resolve issues.Good communication and writing skills.
