Contract Bidder

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced contract bidder (estimator) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project estimating. This person possesses the ability to analyze project specifications and develop accurate cost estimates. The goal is to maintain high-quality standards whilst preparing and winning as many bids as possible. Responsibilities Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for construction projects. Utilize construction estimating software such as HeavyBid, Agtek, and Bluebeam to create detailed estimates. /Candidate will need to be familiar with bidding software. Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements and constraints. Prepare and present detailed proposals to owner, including breakdowns of costs and timelines. Provide support in project management by tracking progress against estimates and making adjustments as necessary. Qualifications Proven experience in bidding, contract bidding, estimating, construction, or project estimating is required. Proficient in analyzing data and preparing estimates. Proficiency in using estimating software. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail for accurate cost control.
