It’s time to look at Taylor.Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Quality Inspector in our North Mankato-MN facility.Work AuthorizationTo be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.Your Shift2nd Shift; Tuesday - Friday, 4:00pm - 2:00amOvertime on Saturdays as neededYour ResponsibilitiesUsing your eye for detail to verify that final work product (statements and letters), with the written instructions to ensure that they meet production standardsExamine material by confirming required manufacturing or industry specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materialsReturn products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-workAble to explain to operators and supervisors how the product doesn’t match the clients instructionsWalking around to different machines to verify the accuracy of jobsCross – Train in different departments to further develop your skills (postal, shipping, hand table)Report problems or concerns with quality results with senior management immediatelyEnsure that items that go out the door, are 100% accurateInput data into the production data baseLearn about our production process and the role that the QA hasMaintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulationsYou Must HaveMust be detailed orientedBasic measuring skills- able to read a ruler and other measurement devicesBasic problem solving skillsBasic computer skills (open, save, print a file, enter data)Be able to work extended hours and weekends based on production scheduleStrong English communication skills, both written and verbalRequirements Within This PositionAbility to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand Regularly required to remain in a stationary positionAbility to work in an environment with regular exposure to printing inks, solvents, and chemicals; required to follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materialsFrequently required to move inside the facilityRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)We Would Also PreferPrior experience within the print industry/fast paced high production environment3+ years’ experienceThe anticipated hourly range for this position is $20 – $23. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
