In addition, our concrete and asphalt paving divisions, along with our various other crews, complete hundreds of projects every season.Job DescriptionOur Des Moines Metro Paving Division has an opening for the construction season for Concrete Paving Foreman. This individual will work with and directly supervise 6-10 non-supervisory employees and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include coordinating the activities of work crews engaged in preparing and placing concrete for handwork and curb and gutter machine work, ensuring the quality of placed concrete in all areas, training employees, planning assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems and additional duties as assigned.
