Here, it feels like family because itisfamily.Bonus points: You have your EPA and a few NATE Certifications.If you don't, that's ok, too!Summary of PositionService Technician:Perform thorough maintenance & repair on all ages of equipment, with the ability to accurately diagnose heating and air conditioning system issues. Must be able to recognize potential breakdown issues before they happen and make the appropriate recommendations to the customer. Must be able to discuss various options for the clients regarding repair or replacing their system.Minimum Qualifications:3+ years of experience with residential HVAC maintenance or service repairs, including heat pumps, gas furnaces, air conditioning units, etc. or a Tech Builder program graduateStrong customer service and interpersonal communication skillsEPA Universal or Type II EPA certificationKnowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required toolsHigh School Diploma or GEDBasic computer skillsAbility to speak, read, and write fluently in the English languagePreferred Qualifications:Additional years of experience with residential HVAC maintenance or service repairs, including heat pumps, gas furnaces, air conditioning units, etc.NATE CertificationHVAC education (Associates, Diploma, Certificate) or Manufacturer TrainingCompensation & Benefits$30.00 $38.00/hour based on experience and skills (plus spiff), potential to make $100,000+ annuallyMedical, dental, vision, short term disability, long term disability, life, 401k with 4% company match2-3 weeks paid vacations and 6 paid holidaysWork HoursMonday - Friday + on-call (rotating evenings & weekends)7:30 am-4:30pm (end time may extend past 4:30 p.m. due to the nature of residential heating & cooling)Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. As an HVAC Service Technician, youll regularly move between residential homes, mechanical rooms, and job sites that may include tight or confined spaces.Technicians must be comfortable climbing ladders, working on rooftops, and accessing attics, basements, and crawl spaces.
