Statistician (Quantitative Modeling & Simulation)Location: Remote / VirtualSalary: $70,000-$80,000 annuallyPosition OverviewThe Statistician is responsible for designing, developing, and validating a Monte Carlo-based odds simulation model. This role applies advanced statistical modeling and quantitative analysis to predict outcomes based on defined parameters, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and practical usability within a production environment.This position works closely with the development team to integrate statistical models into the platform and support data-driven decision-making.This is a full-time, fully remote role.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement Monte Carlo simulations to model probabilistic outcomesDevelop quantitative and statistical models based on defined parameters and assumptionsValidate model accuracy through testing, back-testing, and sensitivity analysisAnalyze large datasets to refine model inputs and improve predictive reliabilityDocument modeling logic, assumptions, and methodologies clearlyCollaborate with software developers to integrate models into the platformTranslate complex statistical outputs into clear insights for non-technical stakeholdersMonitor model performance and recommend improvements over timeApply best practices in statistical rigor, reproducibility, and data integrityQualificationsBachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Quantitative Finance, or a related field (Master's preferred)4-8 years of experience in statistical modeling, quantitative analysis, or simulation-based workStrong experience with Monte Carlo methods and probabilistic modelingProficiency in statistical or programming tools such as Python, R, SQL, or similarExperience working with large datasets and computational modelsStrong analytical thinking and attention to detailAbility to work independently in a remote environmentClear written and verbal communication skillsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary range of $70,000-$80,000Fully remote work environmentOpportunity to build and own a high-impact simulation modelCollaborative, technically driven teamComprehensive benefits package (details provided during the interview process)Work EnvironmentFull-time, remote position
