This temporary position supports our drivers during our peak Christmas season. The assignment begins September 28, 2026, and ends January 1, 2027.In this role, you will travel on short-haul and single-driver routes, performing the physical unloading of snack cakes at delivery locations to maximize route flexibility and driver efficiency. This is an excellent foot in the door at McKee Foodsseasonal hires will become eligible to apply for internal, long-term positions starting November 23, 2026.Freight Unloading: Accurately and safely unload the trailer and handle product at various customer delivery locations in compliance with company standardsSafety Operations: Serve as a safety spotter while the driver maneuvers the vehicle. Safely operate basic emergency safety devices (fire extinguishers, flares, warning triangles) as needed.Route Assistance: Travel in the truck cab with drivers for up to 10 hours per day, assisting with necessary trip paperwork and helping inspect the truck for defectsInventory Control: Help verify each customer's order and list any discrepancies on delivery receiptsProfessional Representation: Maintain a clean cab, practice good personal hygiene, and strictly adhere to the company driver uniform policy.
