In these roles, you will use your assembly experience and knowledge of electronic devices to help build complex electromechanical products in a high-mix manufacturing environment while upholding the high standards our global customers expect. If you enjoy hands-on work and are passionate about technology, teamwork, and continuous improvement, DCI could be a great fit for you.**$1,500 sign-on bonus paid after 30 days of successful employment.**RequirementsWhat You'll Do:Consistently perform assembly and initial testing of new products and/or sub-assemblies as quickly as possible while maintaining exemplary quality standardsAssemble and test per established methods, schematics, and proceduresEffectively communicate product and departmental issues between assembly personnel, department leads, manufacturing management and other interested partiesCommunicate with other technicians regarding methods and best practicesCommunicate with production planning personnel regarding work in process, answer questions and explain problems, solutions and expected completion timesProactively communicate with other individuals and departments on assembly related issuesWork with all tools necessary for any potential job and possess a high level of expertise on various electronic and mechanical systemsBe familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and proceduresPerform a variety of complicated tasks with limited supervision and oversightAssemble electronic and electro/mechanical equipment, including soldering experience and programming electronic devicesPerform work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical principlesProficiently use a personal computer to perform job tasks, including Microsoft Windows and Office SuiteInform appropriate management and technicians of potential product problems and suggests corrective actionsRely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsMaintain company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipmentReport product and process improvement suggestions to manufacturing engineeringEnsure yourself and everyone that works in or visits the Assembly Shop follows appropriate personal safety and ESD prevention protocolsWork independently as well as with a teamPossess a high sense of integrity and confidentiality, will be required to maintain confidential product and trade secrets information Who you are:Two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program or equivalent additional experience in a technical fieldThree years of proven experience in the electronics and/or electro/mechanical fieldsExperience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentAbility to read and understand technical drawingsEffective written/ oral communicationAbility to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basisA thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic components and equipment, including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes is preferredHands-on aptitude, self-directed and able to work independentlyLean Six Sigma and continuous improvement experience preferredEquipment maintenance experience preferredPCB programming experience preferred BenefitsUnparalleled health benefits (PPO plan with no deductibles, no co-pays, DCI covers 99% of costs)Quarterly bonuses: we all share in the success of the companyProfessional development401k match (3% match from DCI regardless of participation, 5% maximum match, 100% vested immediately)22 days PTOParental leaveCompany covers 100% of payroll taxes for state family medical leave11 annual paid holidays plus 1 floating holidayWinter break (we are closed the last week of each year)See more benefits information here. Compensation:DCI is proud to offer comprehensive compensation packages including competitive base pay and discretionary quarterly profit sharing bonuses to all part-time and full-time team members. Base pay is reviewed at a minimum on an annual basis.Pay range: $53,100 - $58,300 per year. To ensure equity, our compensation philosophy is to bring people into new roles in the range of the mid-point of that role. Factors considered for pay include the level of skill, experience, training, external market factors, and internal value.Profit sharing bonus: Over the last 3 years, quarterly bonuses ranged between 11% and 16%.
