The ideal candidate will have a passion for service with an out-going, self-motivated and energetic personality. Must posses strong leadership and coaching skills as well as excellent sales and customer service skills.Tasting Room Supervisor Reports To:Tasting Room ManagersDirector of Wine OperationsResponsibilities Specific to Tasting Room Supervisor:Possesses and lives Europa Village core valuesAssists the Tasting Room Manager in overseeing the Tasting Room, Tours, and OperationsResponsible for training and mentoring new employeesAssists in overseeing day-to-day operations while maintaining the core values, standards and ambiance of the wineryLeads and motivates sales and supports the team to achieve revenue goals; updates team on new promotions and assists sales team as neededAssists with achieving or exceeding financial goals, including wine and tour sales, retail sales, and Wine Club & Europa Table sign-ups.Assists with controlling operational costs and helps identify measures to cut waste and maximize efficienciesDelivers unsurpassed guest service to maximize guest satisfactionManages cash handling, including drawer reconciliations and bank depositsCompletes daily credit card tip calculations and enters them into tip spreadsheetComfortable working on feet for the majority of the work shiftComfortable transitioning between working indoor and outdoor throughout the work shiftOther duties as assignedExpectations of the Tasting Room Supervisor:Creates and fosters an environment of "teamwork" by helping fellow employees or guests without a second thoughtAble to communicate Europa Village's storyAble to treat all Villagers and guests in a respectful mannerArrives to work prepared with excellent personal presentation standards, clean and pressed uniform, and appropriate shoesAdheres to Europa Village's policies and proceduresIs hospitable, welcoming and exhibits a positive attitude and willingness to assist where neededKeeps an eye out for attention to detailMust be able to work weekends, holidays and some evenings
