Resident Service team members are the face of the property and promote a sense of community. The Resident Services Manager will work directly with property managers and property team members to ensure the highest quality experience possible for the residents.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:Provide an open and welcoming environment for residents, prospective residents, guests, and vendors to promote maximum resident retentionAcquire a broad knowledge of the community and the surrounding areaPrepare and maintain log of resident issues and services providedAssist residents with resolution of lease violations under the direct supervision of the Property ManagerOversee and execute lease renewals including recertifications, offers, and negotiations of lease contractsPrepare and deliver move in and renewal giftsPromote a strong sense of community. Help connect residents to one another. Help develop and maintain a strong and healthy identity for the propertyCoordinate all resident events. Minimum of one event per monthManage social media and promote reputation management engagement. Oversee monthly newsletter distributionManage Kingsley platform and address any resident concerns within 24 hoursGreet, tour and lease to prospects as well as respond to any leads that come inCOMPETENCIES:Experience with LIHTC and Affordable Housing Policies and PracticesUnderstand the needs of the resident population and property in which they liveWillingness and ability to work some evenings and weekends; and act respectfully, be patient and with consistencyFlexibility and ability to manage a complex workload in varied work environmentsStrong interpersonal, communication, organization, writing and computer skillsOTHER DUTIESThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
