We take pride in creating a positive work environment where employees are supported, developed, and empowered to succeed.Position SummaryThe Receiving Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading day shift inbound operations in a high-volume pick/pack distribution environment. This role ensures all incoming merchandise is received, processed, stocked, and accounted for accurately, safely, and efficiently while maintaining productivity and team engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & PerformanceSupervise, coach, and develop a team of 10–15 warehouse associatesMonitor daily productivity, accuracy, and attendance; address performance as neededLead pre-shift communication meetings to align team on goals and prioritiesFoster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and safetyInbound & Inventory ManagementOversee receiving, inspection, and stocking of inbound freight from manufacturersEnsure all inbound shipments are processed accurately and stocked in a timely mannerVerify discrepancies and communicate issues to PurchasingEnsure all inbound documentation is completed and submitted properlyMaintain inventory integrity through daily SKU counts and proper location managementAdjust slotting, shelf space, and zone configurations as neededReturns & ProcessingManage all returns (manufacturer and customer), ensuring they are processed, reported, and restocked dailyEnsure non-freight deliveries (e.g., small parcel/UPS) are received and verified dailyOperational ExcellenceMaintain productivity standards and report daily/weekly metricsEnsure all overstock is worked down appropriatelyEnsure labeling, shelf notifications, and SKU changes are accurate and currentSafety & ComplianceEnforce all safety protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materialsMaintain warehouse safety standards, including clear emergency exits and inspection pointsEnsure housekeeping and cleaning schedules are completed and audited dailyFacility & General OversightInspect designated areas (including furniture/storage zones) after stocking completionSupport cross-functional operations and assist in other areas as neededQualificationsStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsProven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentAnalytical thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesDemonstrated ability to manage and motivate teams of 10+ employeesHigh level of accountability, reliability, and attendanceAbility to document and communicate clearly with employees and leadershipFlexible and adaptable to operational needsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor’s degree preferredMinimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse, distribution, or inventory managementExperience in high-SKU, pick/pack distribution environments strongly preferredWork EnvironmentFast-paced warehouse setting with frequent walking, standing, and material handlingExposure to varying temperatures and warehouse equipmentSafety-first culture with a strong emphasis on teamworkWhy Join UsThis role offers the opportunity to lead a critical function within the distribution center, with direct impact on customer satisfaction, safety, and operational performance.
