JNH/IPS LPNs-MSH Contract

JNH/IPS Ft and Pt LPNs The Mississippi State Hospital, located near Pearl, MS is accepting resumes until noon Thursday, April 2, 2026, for the purpose of hiring (6) six full-time and (3) three part-time LPNs to work on our Jaquith Nursing Home and (2) two full-time and (1) one part-time LPNs to work on our Inpatient Psychiatric Services. Contract full-time LPNs must work a minimum of 32 to 40 hours/week and Contract part-time LPNs must work a minimum of 16 to 24 hours/week. PERS Retirees must work a minimum of 16 to 20 hours per week at a Pay rate of $25/hr. The ideal candidate will also be required to work two weekends a month, weekends will consist of Saturday and Sunday and a minimum of 6 State mandated holidays including Christmas or Thanksgiving. Holidays will be determined based on the needs of the hospital. The Pay Rate for Contract full-time LPNs is $30/hr. and Contract part-time LPNs is $25/hr. The Contract will begin on or after July 1, 2026, and end June 30, 2027. Requirements: Applicant must possess an unrestricted MS Nursing License, American Heart Association BLS and or ACLS certifications. TB or crisis prevention certification is a plus.
