One of our Client CleanChoice Energy is looking for a ControllerRole Description The Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Las Vegas, NV, responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting operations and financial integrity. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the general ledger, month-end and year-end close processes, and preparation of accurate financial statements and reports. The Controller will develop and maintain internal controls, oversee budgeting and forecasting, and monitor cash flow, revenue recognition, and expense management. This role will supervise the accounting team, coordinate audits and tax filings with external partners, and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations. The Controller will also collaborate with leadership to provide financial analysis, support strategic decision-making, and implement process improvements and financial systems enhancements.QualificationsStrong core accounting and finance skills, including general ledger management, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.Proficiency with accounting software and financial systems, as well as advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling).Thorough knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and compliance requirements; experience coordinating audits and tax activities.Proven experience leading or supervising accounting teams, with the ability to delegate, coach, and build efficient processes.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with executive leadership, operations, and cross-functional teams.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.Prior experience as a Controller or senior accounting/finance leader, ideally in a technology, SaaS, or professional services environment.Ability to work on-site in Las Vegas, NV, in a fast-paced setting, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.Must Have:Fixed Assets experience within the ENERGY sectorProject Finance experienceMulti-Entity Accounting experience
