VP, Business Development

CooperDouglas has partnered with an established appliances company to find their next VP of Business Development with strong leadership experience. This role will lead business development across major retail channels, with a strong focus on deepening existing big box relationships, expanding product penetration, and driving omnichannel growth. We are looking for a leader who can materially grow revenue by expanding existing retail relationships. Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and drive growth across existing big box and mass retail accountsExpand product assortment and increase shelf space within current retail partnersStrengthen and deepen relationships with key buyers and decision-makersLead account strategy focused on increasing volume, mix, and profitability within existing channelsManage and grow a high-performing sales and account management teamPartner cross-functionally with supply chain, operations, and finance to support demand planning and executionNavigate peak season planning and execution, ensuring alignment across inventory, logistics, and retail demand cyclesIdentify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional product lines within current accountsNegotiate pricing, promotions, and program expansions with retail partnersDeliver forecasting and planning aligned with company growth targetsQualifications10+ years of experience in business development or sales leadership within appliances or consumer durablesProven track record of growing and expanding existing big box and mass retail accountsStrong understanding of omnichannel retail including e-commerce and brick-and-mortarExperience managing peak season demand cycles and large retail programsLeadership experience building and managing teamsStrong commercial acumen with ability to drive growth and margin within existing accountsExperience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentThis position is on-site in Ontario, CA. Compensation for this role is $180K-250K + Bonus & excellent benefits depending on experience.
