Here are the job position details for your review: Job Title: Material Planner/Handler Pay Rate: $20 to 23/Hr Duration: 9 Months Location: Hingham, MA Shift Timings: Shift 1 - 6:45 AM TO 3:15 PM This position is for the Electrical Products division. We are looking for Material Planner/Handler for maintaining material flow and inventory accuracy by doing transactions in SAP for every material movement in the area. In order to make sure that the final assembly has enough materials to keep on working, the material handler will kit in advance the material needed for the following weeks and run the process to refill the stocks when parts are missing for the kits. Direct contact: Production Manager, Production Supervisor, Operators from several departments Maintaining healthy inventory levels by doing requisitions of materials when needed To provide sufficient materials for final assembly Production plan revision Daily plan & priorities through system To validate daily goals and critical orders. Adherence to production sequence. Daily production target Updating & communicating daily kit production in the daily meetings as well as limitations/material shortages to achieve the set target. To measure efficiency and create transparency in other areas Filling in material shortage reports. To create visibility for other areas and production supervisor and assure missing parts get pulled in to finish jobs in time. Doing material movement transactions in SAP To make sure inventory accuracy is met Tracing & follow up on critical jobs Making sure operators are working on the critical jobs according to the sequence and plan discussed daily with the production supervisor To assure prioritization of jobs and meeting daily targets 5S Methodology Make sure the workspace is tidy, identified, and organized To maintain a clean working environment and promote lean manufacturing Experience /Skills Requirements: SAP, Microsoft Office Basic 5S Methodology Advanced Proactiveness Advanced SPS / Lean Knowledge Desirable Languages English. Vietnamese Desirable Other Skills: Decision Making, Organized, Honesty, and Open to giving and receiving feedback.
