Job DescriptionWhat You Will DoSet up, operate, and monitor Swiss-style CNC lathes and/or Mazak machinesRun multiple machines simultaneously (2+ machines) to meet production goalsInspect parts using precision measuring tools to ±0.0001 inch toleranceDeburr, tag, and move parts to the next operation accuratelyIdentify tooling (drills, reamers, inserts, end mills) and use them correctlyRead and follow CNC programs and setup instructionsAdjust machine offsets to maintain dimensional accuracyIdentify materials and alloys using bar stock color codesAssist with machine setup, breakdowns, and troubleshootingPerform routine maintenance before, during, and after production runsMaintain clean and organized workstations (machines, bar feeders, floors, etc.)Detect defects such as burrs, poor surface finish, or out-of-tolerance featuresCore Responsibilities / ImpactEnsure production of high-quality, defect-free partsMaintain tight tolerances and consistent outputSupport efficient shop floor operations through machine uptime and cleanlinessQualifications – What You Bring1–3 years CNC machining/operator experienceExperience with Swiss-style lathes (Star preferred) or Mazak machinesHigh school diploma or trade school certificationAbility to read blueprints and use precision measuring instrumentsSkills & CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and multitasking abilityMechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skillsAbility to work with minimal supervisionGood organizational and housekeeping disciplineBasic computer skills (MS Excel, Word)
