Real Estate Attorney
We have been retained by an established multi-state real estate and creditors' rights law firm who is seeking a qualified attorney to join its South Carolina practice. This position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package tailored to experience.Job Requirements:Must be a member in good standing of the South Carolina State Bar and licensed (or able to obtain a license promptly) in the SC federal district and bankruptcy courts.minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage foreclosure and collections is required.Demonstrated ability and willingness to manage a substantial caseload in the field of creditors' rights.Familiarity with resolving issues related to discovery practice, depositions, and conflict resolution.ppellate experience and knowledge of TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code are preferred.Strong leadership qualities, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, are essential.proactive approach to building industry relationships to establish a reputation as a trusted partner and advisor to clients and colleagues.Court appearances are required, and some travel may be necessary.Familiarity with the SC state legal system, along with a commitment to providing exceptional client support, confidence, and sound judgment.May involve after-hours coverage as needed.
