Housekeeper

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff. This role is essential in providing exceptional service and upholding the highest standards of cleanliness within our organization. Previous experience in hospitality, janitorial, or custodial services is highly valued, though training will be provided for the right candidate. The Housekeeper will play a vital role in supporting the overall operations by performing cleaning tasks efficiently and professionally. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces Maintain high standards of floor care, including carpet cleaning and floor polishing as needed Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest satisfaction Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management Follow proper safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe working environment Adhere to established cleaning protocols specific to hotel or hospitality standards Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as required by management Maintain cleanliness of storage closets and equipment to ensure operational efficiency Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or hospitality environments preferred Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods is a plus Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following instructions accurately Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift moderate loads when necessary Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is advantageous but not mandatory Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or holidays if required Join our team as a Housekeeper to contribute to creating a clean, safe, and inviting environment for all guests and staff.
