We don't just run a gym — we run an experience that keeps members showing up, working harder, and actually hitting their goals.ABOUT THE ROLEThe SWEAT440 Coach is responsible for delivering an exceptional, high-energy studio experience for every member and guest while maintaining the studio's professional appearance, safety, and operational excellence.As the "go-to" leader on the floor, the Coach ensures that every member uses equipment safely and executes each movement with proper form to achieve the best results. This role includes providing exercise demonstrations, one-on-one coaching, and ongoing motivation to help clients reach their fitness goals.Beyond the workout, SWEAT440 Coaches are relationship builders and community leaders. They connect authentically with members, foster lasting relationships, and create an inclusive, high-energy environment where everyone feels supported, challenged, and inspired.A key part of this role is helping prospects make confident, informed decisions about their fitness journey. Coaches engage with potential members in a consultative way — listening to their goals, understanding their hesitations, and clearly communicating how SWEAT440 can meet their needs. This isn't high-pressure sales; it's about guiding the right people toward the right fit and setting them up for long-term success.This position requires a deep understanding of fitness fundamentals, class operations, member engagement, and the ability to have genuine conversations that convert interest into commitment. The role reports directly to the Studio General Manager.PRIMARY OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIESCoaching & Member ExperienceDeliver first-class training sessions that uphold SWEAT440's unique format, culture, and atmosphere.Demonstrate exceptional energy and stage presence to inspire and motivate participants.Provide hands-on form corrections and modifications to ensure safety and maximize results.Deliver a welcoming, supportive experience for all first-time attendees through proper onboarding and orientation.Recognize and celebrate member progress to foster retention and community connection.Ensure smooth timing, transitions, and flow between workout stations during every class.Sales & Member GrowthEngage prospects and first-time visitors in genuine, consultative conversations to understand their goals and determine if SWEAT440 is the right fit.Confidently communicate membership options, class formats, and the SWEAT440 value proposition in a way that is helpful — not pushy.Support membership conversion goals by following up with leads, nurturing relationships, and helping turn trial visitors into long-term members.Participate in studio sales initiatives, challenges, and referral programs with enthusiasm and accountability.Brand AmbassadorshipRepresent the SWEAT440 brand both inside and outside the studio with professionalism and positivity.Promote studio events, special programs, and community initiatives.Uphold the visual and cultural standards of the SWEAT440 brand at all times.Studio SupportEnsure the studio, equipment, and common areas remain clean, safe, and operationally sound.Support daily setup, teardown, and sanitation of all stations.Follow all safety protocols and assist with front-of-house duties when needed (e.g., check-ins, client support).RequirementsNationally accredited fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, ISSA, or equivalent).Current CPR/AED certification (or obtained within 3 months of hire).At least 1 year of experience as a group fitness instructor or personal trainer.Proven ability to coach multiple participants in a fast-paced group setting.Outgoing, energetic, and confident personality with excellent communication skills.Sales experience or a genuine willingness to learn — comfort having goal-oriented conversations with prospects and members is a plus.Positive, optimistic attitude and genuine passion for helping others achieve their goals.Dependable, team-oriented, and professional work ethic.Comfortable working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.Physically able to lift and move 30+ lbs, kneel, bend, reach, and stand for long periods.Fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the U.S.JOB TYPEPart Time or Full Time hourly position with the ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekend hours to meet the needs of the studio’s operating hours.Additional hours may be required to support community events and grassroot activity.COMPENSATIONHourly Base Range $25-35 / hourMonthly Sales Bonus StructureComplimentary SWEAT440 membership • • One discounted SWEAT440 membership for a family or friend.
