Civil Engineer II (5+ years exp required)

This position will work under the general direction of a Project Manager or Supervising Engineer. The Opportunity We are looking for a California Registered PE or EIT candidate with eligibility to take the examination for registration, with a minimum of five years of experience. This position offers a potential hybrid environment, allowing work time to be divided between the office and home upon management approval. The ideal candidate for this opportunity can work independently, has sound technical skills, is team oriented, personable, and possesses a strong desire to make a positive contribution to the business. This position requires a well-organized and versatile individual who is experienced in civil engineering design. Responsibilities: Design of projects under direction of a registered Engineer Performs studies, calculations, and designs and preparation of reports in accordance with project requirements and engineering standards Preparation of construction documents Quality control of work products self-produced Occasional assistance with marketing/estimating work effort Required Qualifications: BS Degree in Civil Engineering Minimum of five years of design experience, some project management experience is a plus California PE License or eligibility to take the examination for registration Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills including an ability to interact professionally and knowledgeably with staff and project teams We offer a generous salary and benefits package that includes company paid medical and dental insurance, vacation and a 401(k) plan.
