Assembly Line (2nd Shift)

Job TitleUse required pneumatic/hand tools to assemble product per company and customer specifications. Understand associated parts and their relationship to the end product. Must be able to facilitate all aspects of the assembly process.Essential Functions:Must be able to organize all aspects of the assembly process.Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.Accurately report daily activities and production data as directed.Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment.Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.Exercise safe working habits while operating machines.Must possess a high level of attention to details.Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture, participating in safety training sessions, and promptly reporting any safety concerns.All other duties as assigned.Education and TrainingHigh School Diploma/GED required.Prior production assembly experience, 1-2 years preferred.Minimum QualificationsAbility to interpret production schedules and build specifications.Must be able to utilize torque wrenches according to specifications.Must pass drug screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment.Must follow all safety practices and policies.Physical DemandsConstant standing, walking, reaching, balancing, cervical spine motion, lower extremities, and simple grasp.Frequent use of firm grasping, fine manipulation, and pitching.Frequent forward bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing.Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.Environmental ConditionsNon-temperature-controlled manufacturing facility.Must wear eye, ear, and foot protection.Behavioral TraitsProduction - Adopting a strong orientation toward achievement, holding high expectations for yourself and others, pushing yourself and others to achieve at high levels.Cooperation - Accommodating the needs and interests of others by being willing to defer performance on your own objectives in order to assist colleagues with theirs.Consensual - Valuing the ideas and opinions of others and collecting their input as part of your decision-making process.Listening - Understands and learns from what others say.Attention to Detail - Diligently attends to details and pursues quality in accomplishing tasks.Teamwork - Promotes cooperation and commitment within a team to achieve goals and deliverables.Safety Focus - Adheres to all workplace and trade safety laws, regulations, standards, and practices.Hendrickson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
