Growing together.The Senior Patient Access Capacity Manager oversees the planning, analytics, and reporting functions that optimize scheduling and patient access center productivity. This role provides leadership to the capacity management team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and best practices in ambulatory scheduling. The manager partners with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve issues, develop workflows, and establish KPIs. Additionally, they monitor performance trends and dashboards to recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and patient access.If you are located in near Pearland, TX, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or equivalent experience7+ years in healthcare operations or patient access management, including leadership or project experienceProven solid written and verbal communication and presentation skillsProven solid analytical skills: ability to determine and manage actions needed based on available reporting dataProven solid problem-solving skills: with the ability to think strategically and creativelyProven solid organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skillsProven solid functional competence using Microsoft Office Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, VisioProven excellent customer service orientationProven high-level of analytics and reporting with excellent attention to detailProven ability to work in a fast-paced changing environmentProven ability to present and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner, verbally or in writingProven ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholdersProven ability to work independently and organize work effectivelyProven ability to work with staff at various levels with various focus areas (e.g., technical and operational)Preferred Qualifications:Master's Degree in Business, Healthcare, Public Health, or related area7+ years management experienceEpic Cadence, Epic Ambulatory and Reporting experienceKnowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologiesProven solid project management skills*All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter PolicyPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment.
