If you’re equal parts creative marketer, detail-driven planner, and hands-on leader, this could be your perfect role.What You’ll Do:Sales & Event ManagementBe the face of Valcour: Connect with clients, partners, and vendors to grow business and bring our events to life.Manage inquiries, tours, and event logistics from first contact to final celebration.Create seamless event experiences, from floorplans and setups to ensuring every detail exceeds guest expectations.Build strong relationships that lead to repeat business and glowing reviews.Ensure a strong on-site presence at events to oversee setup, guest experience, and manage any issues quickly and effectively.Maintain high hospitality standards every day.Marketing & Brand GrowthDevelop and execute creative marketing campaigns across social media, website, and partner platforms.Manage and update our online presence and booking tools.Analyze trends, track performance through Google Analytics, and identify new opportunities for growth.Collaborate to design beautiful, market-driven wedding and event packages that attract new audiences.Represent Valcour at bridal shows, trade events, and community gatherings - or even plan our own!Operational LeadershipOversee the daily operations of Valcour Inn & Boathouse to ensure smooth, efficient, and top-tier guest experiences.Lead and inspire a small but mighty team - from hiring and training to goal setting and performance reviews.Coordinate maintenance and vendor relationships to keep the property running seamlessly.Stay hands-on and organized — juggling multiple priorities while delivering excellence at every turn.Financial & Strategic ManagementCollaborate with leadership to create and manage annual budgets and business plans.Track performance, control costs, and identify smart ways to boost profitability.Conduct regular process audits and implement strategies that enhance efficiency and service quality.Drive occupancy growth through dynamic sales and marketing plans with measurable impact.Who You AreA natural leader and creative thinker who loves hospitality and thrives on results.Organized, energetic, and unafraid to roll up your sleeves to make events shine.Skilled at managing multiple projects, people, and priorities with grace and professionalism.Comfortable with tech tools (Google Analytics, websites, social media platforms, etc.).Available for flexible hours to meet the demands of weddings and special events, to include evenings, weekends or holidays.
