Work Control Planner 4πŸ“ Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) – Los Alamos, NM (Onsite)πŸ’² Competitive Hourly Rate + OT + Per Diem/Relocation (when applicable)πŸ•’ Schedule: 4x12s (Nights/Weekends)πŸ”’ Clearance: Ability to obtain DOE Q Clearance requiredOverviewCOMPA Industries is seeking an experienced Work Control Planner 4 to support high-hazard nuclear facility operations at Los Alamos National Laboratory (TA-55).This is a senior-level planning role responsible for developing complex work packages, supporting maintenance and operations planning, and driving improvements to work control processes within a highly regulated DOE environment.This role is best suited for candidates with extensive nuclear or highly regulated facility planning experience who can operate with a high level of autonomy and technical expertise.⚠️ Minimum Requirements – Please Read Before ApplyingTo be considered, candidates must meet the following:12+ years of experience in work control planning, maintenance planning, or related fieldExperience developing detailed work packages (labor, materials, procedures, safety requirements)Experience in nuclear, DOE, or other highly regulated environmentsAbility to obtain a DOE Q ClearanceWillingness to work nights/weekends (4x12 schedule)What You’ll DoDevelop, review, and execute complex work packages supporting maintenance, operations, and construction activitiesCreate detailed step-by-step work instructions, procedures, and safety requirementsResolve work constraints and drive work packages through final closureAnalyze performance data and support process improvements and program developmentMaintain and utilize CMMS systems (e.g., Maximo) to track and manage workSupport and mentor junior planners while ensuring compliance with Integrated Work Management practicesWhat We’re Looking ForDeep experience in work control planning within nuclear or high-hazard facilitiesStrong understanding of:Lockout/TagoutSafety basis and hazard analysisMaintenance and operations planning processesAbility to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentationExperience working with CMMS systems and performance trackingStrong communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple teamsWhy This RoleWork on mission-critical operations supporting national securityLong-term opportunity with high-impact responsibilitiesCompetitive compensation + overtime potentialOpportunity to work within one of the most advanced nuclear facilities in the country
