Project Manager III

SOFT's client located in *Syracuse, NY (Hybrid) *is looking for a Project Manager for a long term contract assignment. Description: Hybrid 1 to 2 days in Syracuse Office a week (Tues. and Thurs.) Contractor- Project Manager for our Digital Solutions team in New York Syracuse, NY Job Purpose: The Contractor-Project Manager is responsible for supporting the business and operations work stream within a multi-disciplinary digital product team structure. They partner closely to execute several activities, such as identifying risky assumptions, building the value case, defining the future-state process vision, executing change management plans, etc. Key Accountabilities: * Support business capability assessment, design, alignment and road mapping for product line with cross-functional teams * Construct business case, including value projections and detailed investment estimate; ensure these are aligned with product definition * Track objectives and key results to assess benefit realization of products * Proactively identify riskiest assumptions and support product team in designing and executing experiments to increase confidence in business case assumptions * Support business/operation work stream team, participating in Agile sprints during full product roadmap * Define future-state operations solution (process, org change), including detailed current state-process and future-state process documentation * Support change mgmt. and product roll-out plan, with help from the change mgmt. team as needed * Implement marketing, sales, business development, user acquisition, and user support strategies * Provide support to product & technical workstreams (e.g., RFP support, stakeholder mgmt., value alignment, IT governance, IT PMO) * Support preparation of materials for key stakeholder readouts (e.g., Digital Board meetings) and regulatory engagements. * Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required Qualifications: * *Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, engineering or relevant field* * *3-5 years relevant business experience* * *Experience working on digital product teams highly preferred* * *Experience designing and refining value case (e.g., financial value to the business, strategic value, etc.)* * *Experience in defining, testing, and refining product assumptions* * *Experience in Agile product or project management* * *At least 1-2 years working with (or within) utility* * *Financial modeling and value case development experience* Pay: $1.00 per hour Education: * Bachelor's (Required) Experience: * RFP support, stakeholder mgmt: 3 years (Required) * IT governance, IT PMO): 5 years (Required) * Digital Board meetings) and regulatory engagements.: 5 years (Required) * working with (or within) utility: 3 years (Required) Location: * Syracuse, NY 13215 (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Syracuse, NY 13215
