Our clients range from long-established, multi-generational families to young tech entrepreneurs. Their needs guide the services we provide. While our firm primarily focuses on taxation, our practice also includes accounting services and management consulting.This is an on-site position ~25-35 hours/week (Monday-Friday), with the opportunity for additional hours during tax season. We are seeking candidates who are interested in long-term employment, enjoy working in a collaborative environment, and are also able to work independently while contributing to the overall success of the team.Job responsibilities will included but not limited to providing administrative, operational, and client-service support to the tax and accounting team, including deadline tracking, client communication, scheduling, document preparation, tax season support, marketing assistance, database updates, and handling confidential information.Knowledge & ExperienceThe ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and qualities:Associate degree and/or bachelor’s degree preferred, junior or senior currently enrolled at an accredited university pursuing a degree may also be consideredAt least 1+ year of office experience preferredExperience in a tax or accounting office is preferred but not requiredComfortable using technology on a daily basis, including Mac and PC computers, telephones, internet-based tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Adobe Pro, Zoom, and DocuSign. Preferred but not required - experience with tax and accounting software, including Intuit Lacerte Tax Software, QuickBooks Online, and QuickBooks DesktopExceptional organizational and time-management skillsExcellent written, verbal, and interactive communication skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesGenuine interest in tax, accounting, and financeCollaborative, proactive, responsive, reliable, and solution-orientedPositive attitude and willingness to contribute to an outstanding team environmentHigh level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential information*Hourly rate based on experience**Benefits based on hours worked
