Job Title: ETL Test LeadLocation: San Francisco, CAMode: 100% OnsiteShift: GeneralWe are seeking a highly skilled ETL Test Lead with strong expertise in Data Analytics, Test Automation, and Cloud-based Data Testing (AWS). The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end testing initiatives for complex data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and performance across ETL workflows, APIs, and UI layers.Key ResponsibilitiesLead ETL/Data Warehouse testing across ingestion, transformation, and reporting layersDesign and implement test strategies, test plans, and test frameworks for data platformsValidate data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses for accuracy, consistency, and completenessPerform data validation using SQL, Python scripts, and analytics techniquesDrive automation strategy using Python (Pytest framework) for ETL and API testingValidate REST APIs and microservices supporting data pipelinesCollaborate with UI teams to validate data-driven front-end applications and dashboardsWork with AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, EMR for data validation and testingPerform data reconciliation, data profiling, and root cause analysis for defectsEnsure CI/CD integration of automated test suites (Jenkins, Git, etc.)Mentor team members and act as a point of contact for testing deliveryCoordinate with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholdersRequired SkillsStrong experience in ETL testing, Data Warehouse testing, and Data Migration testingExpertise in validating complex transformations, aggregations, and joinsProficient in SQL for data validation and analysisHands-on experience with Python automationStrong expertise in Pytest frameworkExperience building automation frameworks for data and API testingExperience in API testing using tools like Postman/Rest AssuredUnderstanding of microservices architectureExposure to UI testing (Selenium or similar tools)Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, EMR)Understanding of data lakes and big data ecosystemsStrong skills in data analysis, profiling, and reportingAbility to interpret and validate business reports and dashboards
