You will serve as a critical connector between subcontractors, project leadership, and operations teams, helping drive coordination and accountability across all MEP scopes.This role is ideal for a seasoned field leader who thrives in complex environments and takes pride in delivering highly technical projects with precision. You’ll play a central role in managing subcontractors, supporting commissioning efforts, and maintaining alignment with strict operational and safety requirements typical of mission-critical facilities.Your Contribution Will Likely IncludeLeading day-to-day oversight of MEP construction activities to ensure alignment with design, budget, and scheduleCoordinating and supervising subcontractors and vendors to drive productivity, quality, and contract complianceSupporting development and maintenance of construction schedules, proactively identifying and communicating impactsManaging material delivery logistics and ensuring site security and loss prevention measures are in placeEnforcing safety policies and promoting a strong safety culture across all field operationsLeading weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and facilitating clear communication across tradesOverseeing and supporting the commissioning process for MEP systemsPartnering with facility operations teams to ensure adherence to Methods of Procedure (MOPs)Monitoring subcontractor performance to ensure quality control and minimize punch list itemsDriving pre-punch and final punch list completion in coordination with project stakeholdersReviewing subcontractor invoices and change orders, providing recommendations to project leadershipDocumenting field changes, as-built conditions, and daily construction progressExperience You Will Bring10+ years of field experience in commercial construction with supervisory responsibility5+ years of hands-on experience managing MEP scopes in complex construction environmentsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredStrong working knowledge of construction scheduling and project delivery in fast-track environmentsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.) and scheduling toolsAbility to effectively lead subcontractors and coordinate across multiple tradesExcellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of a project teamStrong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workAbility to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities without compromising safety or qualityCustomer-focused mindset with professionalism in interactions with clients, tenants, and partnersWillingness to adopt and leverage new technologies, including AI toolsSabey's Investment in YouSabey is committed to building an enduring, next-generation company that values and invests in the success of its team members.
