Registered Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment plans Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficiency and comfort Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality and data security at all times Skills Proficiency with dental software systems including Eaglesoft and Dentrix for scheduling, documentation review, and record keeping Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques Experience with pediatric dentistry and providing care to pediatric patients in a compassionate manner Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently during various dental procedures Knowledge of medical terminology, medical coding, and medical records management for accurate documentation Familiarity with general dentistry procedures, medical imaging techniques, vital signs monitoring, and infection prevention protocols Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively and collaborate with the dental team Join us in making a difference by providing top-tier dental hygiene services in a supportive environment that values your skills and dedication.
