This person will align supervisors, project managers, and field personnel into a disciplined, efficient operation that contractors rely on and employees take pride in.ResponsibilitiesProvide overall operational leadership for traffic control activities across Southern IdahoLead and align supervisors, project managers, and field personnelDevelop, implement, and enforce systems for scheduling, dispatch, and daily operationsEstablish and enforce a standard of field excellence, ensuring work zones are set up safely and correctly, actively maintained, and that any deficiencies or contractor concerns are identified and resolved quicklyEstablish clear expectations and accountability for project managers related to job performance, documentation, and billingDesign and implement standardized processes for field documentation, including daily reports, quantities, and job recordsOwn the operational portion of the billing process, ensuring quantities are accurate, documented, and submitted without delayHold project managers accountable for timely and accurate billing and resolution of discrepanciesWork with accounting to ensure invoices are supported, submitted quickly, and tracked through paymentIdentify and correct breakdowns in the billing cycle that create delays in invoicing or collectionsEnsure all projects are reviewed and reconciled promptly upon completionDevelop systems that provide visibility into job costing, production, and performance metricsImplement regular operational reviews to improve efficiency and reinforce accountabilityMaintain strong relationships with contractors, municipalities, and project stakeholdersPromote a culture of safety, professionalism, accountability, and respect for the teamQualifications5–10 years in traffic control, construction, or related field operationsProven experience leading field teams and managing operational performanceStrong organizational and leadership skillsPractical understanding of work zone safety and traffic control operationsExperience improving systems, workflows, or documentation processes in an operational environmentStrong communication skills and ability to build productive relationshipsComfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
