Administrative Coordinator (College of Health Sciences - PhD of Health Sciences)

Faulkner University is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented individual to serve as Administrative Coordinator to the Doctor of Health Sciences Program. The selected individual will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support for the program, ensuring efficient coordination of departmental activities, communication, and student services. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position.Summary of Duties:Serve as primary admissions contact for the program; respond to inquiries and provide information to prospective and current studentsReceive and direct telephone calls, visitors and electronic communications to the appropriate individualsServe as a liaison between the department and students, faculty, staff and other university officesAssist with the development, maintenance, and tracking of departmental academic schedulesMaintain filing system for department records and databases of current students and graduatesMaintain records related to departmental personnel, including attendance and leave recordsRecord, archive and distribute minutes from department meetingsAssist with formatting, copying, and proctoring examinationsAssist with the adjunct faculty hiring and onboarding processAssist with departmental purchasing card transactions and reconciliationsPrepare and distribute correspondence; provide other general administrative supportQualifications:High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferredMinimum of 3 years of office/clerical experience preferredHealthcare office/clerical experience preferredActive member of the church of ChristFor initial application submit:* Resume* Cover letterEmployment is conditional on a satisfactory background check and verification of work authorization through E-Verify.Non-discrimination statement: Faulkner University is a church-affiliated liberal arts institution committed to employing a highly qualified and diverse administration, faculty and staff which reflects the University's religious traditions, values, affiliation, and purpose.
