Quality Control Inspector

Location: Oceanside, CA (North San Diego County)A well-established, family-owned manufacturing business with over 60 years of history is currently seeking three Quality Inspectors. This is a stable, multi-generational company that is currently doubling its business volume.The facility operates 14 machines (Okuma CNC and Lathes) producing flanges, tubing, and pipe fittings. These positions have opened due to company growth as well as a scheduled retirement and a military deployment.Company FootprintPrimary Location: Oceanside, CAAdditional Locations: Huntington Beach, CA and Kemp, TX (Kansas City location opening soon).Qualifications2 years experience as a Quality Inspector or similar role in manufacturing or metal fabrication preferred.Strong understanding of measurement tools and dimensional inspection techniques: Calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and other inspection instruments.Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.Good documentation and communication skills.High attention to detail and commitment to product accuracy.Ability to work independently and efficiently.Must be able to operate a forklift.ResponsibilitiesPerform in-process and final inspections of materials and manufactured parts.Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and other inspection instruments.Maintain accurate and complete quality records, reports, and documentation.Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work orders.Identify and document non-conformances; communicate issues to supervisors and production staff.Support continuous improvement initiatives and uphold all company quality and safety standards.Work collaboratively with machine operators, welders, and supervisors to resolve quality issues.Interested candidates should apply with an updated resume for consideration.
