For more information, visit www.nabsys.com.Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk Nature of Role: Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for the handling of all incoming and outgoing materials, including temperature sensitive and hazardous goods, while adhering to strict safety and regulatory protocols. The key responsibilities of the role include receiving shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, proper storage, preparing outgoing packages, maintaining accurate inventory records, and coordinating with logistics partners.Responsibilities:Unload, inspect, and receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips, including checking for proper temperature control and documentation for sensitive materialsPrepare and package outgoing orders according to company and regulatory standards, label them correctly, and arrange for carrier pickupMaintain accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts and audits, using inventory management or ERP systemsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, sorting and stocking materials in designated storage areas and ensuring efficient accessEnsure all documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations like FDA, cGMP, and OSHACommunicate with other departments, suppliers, and couriers to resolve discrepancies and coordinate shipmentsSupervise chemical loading processes and sign off on hazardous materials manifestsOversee the daily logistics of receiving, shipping, kitting operations and material movements to ensure inventory accuracy and integrityRequirements: Associate’s degree or equivalent is required; or bachelor’s degree in a related field like logistics, supply chain, or life sciences is preferredOne or more years of experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse roles, preferably in a biotech or life sciences environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to learn and use computer systems, including inventory management and shipping softwareFamiliarity with handling special materials, such as temperature-sensitive or hazardous goodThe ability to lift and move materials up to 50 poundsIATA certification is preferredCompensation:Competitive salary and bonus structureEquity stakeBenefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k) plan with 50% match up to 6% of base salary, generous vacation, life insurance
