This role is responsible for driving financial and inventory plans that optimize profitability, align to consumer demand, and support overall business objectives.Location & ScheduleOn-site with work-from-home FridaysDurationApproximately 12-month contractExperience Level2–4+ years of experience in merchandise planning, assortment planning, or retail financial planningWhat You’ll DoBachelor’s degree strongly preferred or equivalent experienceDevelop seasonal and monthly merchandise plans including sales, margin, and inventory forecastsManage open-to-buy (OTB) and support in-season optimization through ongoing analysis and adjustmentsAnalyze weekly business performance and identify risks and opportunities to inform decision-makingPartner cross-functionally with merchandising, planning, marketing, and other key teams to align on strategy and executionSupport inventory planning and management across the product lifecyclePrepare and present financial insights and planning recommendations to stakeholdersContribute to a rolling forecast process to ensure plans remain aligned with business performance and goalsWhat You BringStrong expertise in Excel and data analysisSolid understanding of retail math, forecasting, and inventory managementExperience managing OTB and merchandise financial plansAbility to work effectively in cross-functional, matrixed environmentsStrong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholdersComfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience presenting to senior leadershipStrong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skillsBackground in apparel, footwear, or large-scale retail environmentsExperience with financial planning or business analysisBest fit with roleCandidates who are analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a strong understanding of retail planning fundamentals.
