Staff Accountant

Job DescriptionStaff AccountantWe're partnering with a family-owned surface finishing company in Geauga County that's been in business since 1971. They're looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, values stability, and wants to grow with a company that takes pride in its people and long-term success.What You'll Be Handling:Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledgerManage expense reporting in SAP Concur and import data into QuickBooks OnlineFile and maintain sales and use tax returns across multiple statesReconcile bank accounts and report daily cash activitySupport accounts payable, accounts receivable, and commission calculationsAssist with payroll preparation and other financial analysis projectsIdentify opportunities to improve processes and enhance accuracyQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance2+ years of general accounting experience (manufacturing a plus)Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and QuickBooks OnlineStrong organizational, analytical, and communication skillsWhat's Offered:Competitive pay and full benefits401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, vision, and life insurancePaid time offExcellent opportunities for growth and advancement
