Tutor

We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate Math, Chemistry, STEM, Physics, and/or Biology Tutor with a strong academic background to provide personalized tutoring for children and teens. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in one or more of these fields and a proven track record of helping students excel in their studies. We are looking for someone who not only possesses in-depth subject matter expertise but also has the ability to explain complex concepts in an engaging, approachable way for younger learners. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one tutoring in Math, Chemistry, STEM, Physics, and/or Biology to students ranging from elementary to high school levels. Develop customized lesson plans to suit each student’s learning style and academic goals. Offer support in homework, test preparation, and project guidance, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the subjects. Foster a positive learning environment to boost students’ confidence and encourage a passion for learning. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and any areas that may need additional attention. Qualifications: Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred) in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, or a closely related field. Experience in tutoring or teaching children and teenagers, preferably in high-end academic environments. Ability to make complex scientific and mathematical concepts accessible and exciting for young learners. Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, patient, and engaging personality. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt to different learning styles. A passion for education and a natural ability to connect with children, fostering both their academic and personal growth. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with advanced curricula (e.g., IB, AP, A-Level). Experience with standardized test prep (e.g., SAT, ACT, etc.). Bilingual or multilingual candidates are a plus.
