Logistics Analyst

Synectic Solutions is seeking a Logistics/Program Support Analyst to provide technical, logistics, and program support to the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems, PEO IWS-11, in support of the Phalanx Close-In Weapon System (CIWS) and the RAM Guided Missile Weapon System. The successful candidate will support fleet technical assistance, integrated logistics support (ILS), supply and spares budgeting, and missile inventory management activities across the program office. This position is onsite in Arlington (Crystal City), VA.Job ResponsibilitiesTechnical, Training, and Program SupportProvide technical expertise to PEO IWS-11 related to maintenance and training for the Phalanx Close-In Weapon System and RAM Guided Missile Weapon SystemPrepare briefing and training materials in support of program and fleet requirementsProvide planning and coordination support, including liaison with government field activities and hardware contractorsPrepare briefings and participate in various program meetingsProvide technical feedback to the fleet through communications such as Fleet Advisory messages and Technical BulletinsGenerate weekly ILS/In-Service Status ReportsSupply Support and Spares BudgetingResolve supply support related issuesSupport the development and update of provisioning documentationCoordinate spares budget submittals and assist in spares budget reviewsDevelop briefing material for Baseline Assessment Memorandums and support data sheet updates for spares budgetingDevelop O&MN requirements for submission via the OPOM database, and assist in spares modeling for both wholesale and retail levelsIntegrated Logistics Support and Sustainment DocumentationPrepare or review Life-Cycle Sustainment Plans, Ordnance Assessment Plans, Demilitarization/Disposal Plans, Technical Manuals, and Integrated Logistics Assessment documentationProvide ILS technical review of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and identify impacts to ILSMissile Inventory and Data ManagementManage and update US Fleet missile inventory data, and support “what-if” scenario planning for budget development and justificationProvide data support for Navy Ordnance Inventory Management systems and readiness requirementsAssist in the management of government-owned assetsRequired QualificationsSix (6) years of relevant experience in logistics, program support, or technical support to a Navy or DoD weapon system programActive Secret security clearanceWorking knowledge of Navy shipboard weapon systems, ILS processes, and supply support/provisioning practicesWhat Your Experience Working For Us Will Be LikeAsk any of our employees and they will tell you SSI is a great place to work with an upbeat and positive culture.
