Director, Finance Operations

Finance Operations DirectorSan Jose - Onsite 5 days per week Position Summary Finance Operations Director will be responsible for managing the accounting operations and forecasting relating to standard cost, variances, spending, other cost of goods sold, E&O reserve, rebates and other. The responsibilities include:Manage E&O, rebates, standard cost of sales, variances, other cost of goods sold, and other aspects of the Gross MarginManage the standard costs and standard costs updateManage and supervise one staff and assist the Singapore accounting teamIndependently improve Oracle system processes and automate reconciliation processesResponsible for Oracle and other IT project management especially as it relates to the cost accounting system with Oracle Shop Floor Manager (OSFM)Ensure the company's internal and external reporting requirements are satisfied and delivered in a timely mannerLead quarterly review and annual audit by external auditorsManage the development, implementation and the documentation of information for Sarbanes Oxley testing and complianceAssist with ad hoc accounting projects and financial reports as neededAssist with operational issues and partner with the VP of operationsManage cost metrics reporting and operational metrics packageRequirements10+ years of related accounting experienceSolid knowledge of U.S. GAAPStandard cost experienceStrong leadership, project management and communication skillsBonus points if you have:Oracle experience, OFSM is a plusPublic Accounting experience is a plusExperience with high-speed trading systems and/or secure payment processing (chips in cards/ATMs)People management experienceBachelor's in Accounting, CPA, or MBA a plus
