Details Short-term acute care hospital with 110 staffed beds Telemetry unit serving adult and geriatric patients including stroke, post-cardiac cath, neuro spine, general surgery, wound care, diabetics, and oral surgery cases Patient ratio of 1:4-6 with an average daily census of 16 Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00-07:30 Every third weekend required Floating between two hospital campuses required as needed Epic EMR experience required 13-week contract Requirements Active MO RN license required; IL candidates may be considered with a pending IL license Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Minimum 2 years of telemetry or step-down RN experience required Experience with stroke patient care required Experience with post-cardiac catheterization patient care required Epic EMR experience required Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible Former permanent employees of any BJC facility must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break is required RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO permitted during the first week of orientation Some initial orientation may occur outside of your typical contract shift hours Scrub color: light gray/silver Free parking is available on-site American Traveler Job ID P-684165.
