The Cost Accountant plays a critical role in shaping the organizations financial accuracy and operational efficiency. Key Areas of Impact
Develop and maintain reliable cost structures that support planning, pricing, and operational strategy
Strengthening financial forecasts by delivering consistent, data-driven cost-insights
Evaluate cost performance trends to identify opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with production, supply chain, and operations to ensure cost data integrity
Prepare organized, audit-ready cost documentation for internal and external review
Produce recurring cost summaries that inform leadership and support strategic alignment
Uphold accounting standards, internal controls, and compliance expectations
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
24 years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of cost methodologies and GAAP principles
Advanced Excel skills and comfort working within ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Proven analytical capability and a disciplined, detail-oriented approach
Ability to manage priorities independently and meet established deadlines
Preferred Experience
Exposure to standard costing frameworks
Understanding of inventory flow and cost allocation practices
Familiarity with SOX-related processes

Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM
Salary Range:
$95,000 - $105,000/year commensurate with experience
