The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a team to ensure the safe and compliant delivery of projects, creating a sales pipeline to generate revenue, and building and maintaining external relationships with clients and supply partners. This role requires a strong focus on project delivery within financial boundaries, profit margins, and adherence to commercial agreements, statutory regulations, and technical industry standards. The Head of Projects will also be involved in driving business growth, managing project execution, and providing strategic leadership to maximize profitability.Applicants for the Head of Project Management position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a client-facing project manager role within the general contracting industry, with a strong background in principal projects. The role also demands prior experience in a supervisory or managerial position, direct experience in construction, mechanical, electrical, or plumbing, and a proven track record in managing project financials, including contract negotiation and management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial terms and principles, the ability to forecast and prepare budgets, and experience in conducting financial and business analysis. While not mandatory, PMP and LEED AP certifications are preferred, and extensive financial experience is a plus.
