Laundry Attendant

Overview NEW HOTEL OPENING SOON! We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens, towels, and other textiles to ensure a high standard of hygiene and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience in laundry operations, including handling delicate fabrics and performing cleaning tasks efficiently. Previous hotel experience is a plus, as it provides familiarity with hospitality industry standards. Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and pressing machines to clean linens, towels, and guest clothing Sort laundry items according to fabric type and cleaning requirements Perform specialized cleaning tasks including dry cleaning when necessary Ensure all laundry is processed efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and equipment to ensure optimal operation Assist with inventory management of linens and supplies Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent contamination or accidents Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests related to laundry services Qualifications Prior experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is preferred Knowledge of laundry procedures, including dry cleaning processes, is advantageous Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle delicate fabrics carefully Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Good organizational skills and reliability are essential Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
