SummaryThe Sales Director for America, West, will play a pivotal role in leading the development and execution of Tritium's sales strategy for the Americas region. The purpose is to secure hardware and services revenue by acquiring and expanding strategic customer accounts across fleets, commercial sites, and public sector programs, while building lasting partnerships and ensuring customer success.ScopeGeographic scope is the United States, Canada, and Latin America. The role is remote-based and requires regular cross-functional collaboration; it is accountable for achieving regional sales targets, managing the regional pipeline and forecast in the CRM, and driving revenue growth with limited direct people management responsibilities.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the regional sales strategy for the AmericasIdentify and secure strategic customer accounts and partnershipsBuild and manage a robust sales pipeline and forecast in the CRMCoordinate with Marketing, Pricing, Customer Success, and Solutions Engineering to tailor proposalsLead negotiations and contract execution in collaboration with internal teamsDrive go-to-market plans for key sectors including fleet, commercial & retail, and public sectorMaintain deep knowledge of local market dynamics, competition, and regulatory considerationsRepresent Tritium at industry events and customer meetingsEnsure compliance with company policies and proceduresDeliver annual regional revenue targets and KPIsContribute to account planning, forecasting, and regional market insightsQualificationsBachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field5-8 years of B2B sales, business development, or strategic partnerships experienceProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing long-term customer relationshipsExperience selling to enterprise and mid-market accounts in the AmericasStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales planning toolsTravelLocation: United States – Remote. Work environment is primarily remote with occasional travel to customer sites, events, and Tritium offices as required.
