If you're looking for a role where your daily work has a direct impact on businesses, families, and entire communities, we'd love to have you on our team.What You'll Do:As a Store Sales Associate, you'll create exceptional experiences for walk-in customers, phone-in contractors, and internal teammates. You'll guide contractors to the right solutions, process orders quickly and accurately, and keep our store running smoothly and efficiently. It is expected that the Store Sales Associate will work a minimum of 40 hours per week in accordance with the standard company operating hours of 7:00am 4:30pm, Monday Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required based on business needs.Key Responsibilities:Greet customers with a positive, helpful attitude and a servant's heart in the store and over the phoneAccurately process, invoice, and quote customer orders, changes, and returns according to ACR policies and proceduresAssist contractors with product selection and technical questionsKeep shelves stocked, organized, and clean for easy product accessCollaborate with teammates to solve customer problems quicklyLearn and grow HVAC product knowledge to better serve our customersCall manufacturers for product availability and place special orders with manufacturers.Open and close the store as assigned.Drive sales by promoting new products, special deals, and innovative solutions.How You'll Make an ImpactHelp HVAC contractors stay on schedule and reduce callbacksSupport field technicians by making sure they get the right partsfastContribute to a positive in-store experience that keeps customers loyalBuild trust with contractors who count on ACR for expert supportReinforce a culture of excellence and service in every interactionWhat You'll Bring:High school diploma or GED1 year paid experience in a customer service role3 years working in the HVAC industry (preferred)3 years warehouse experience (preferred)3 years inventory/ERP experience (preferred)Knowledge of the HVAC industry products and practicesAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentPositive team-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellenceDemonstrated ability to learn and use new technologyExcellent customer service and communication skillsAttention to detailStrong Critical Thinking skills and problem solving abilityExcellent organizing, planning, and prioritization skillsStrong active listening and social perceptivenessCurrent and Valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experienceMeet physical demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Where You'll be Working:This position works in a store and warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters, forklifts, and tape dispensers.
