It is a community-driven organization that prioritizes individualized learning and developmental success.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Special Education Teacher responsible for supporting and teaching students with diverse learning needs in Grades K-5. The teacher will develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs), adapt lesson plans, create engaging and inclusive classroom activities, closely monitor student progress, and provide additional support to meet each student's unique requirements. This position requires strong collaboration with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure student success. The role could be for our AIMS program, Nest Program or ICT classroom. The role is based in Brooklyn, NY. We are looking for educators who thrive by working collaboratively and enjoy being model teachers. We host many visits and support other educators by sharing our practices often with other educators, schools, administrators, and programs.
