Safeway Assembly

Description: Job Summary: The Safeway Assembly operator will consist of basic level machine operation that includes working with corrugated material and the use of hand tools. Duties & Responsibilities Includes the following but not limited to other duties that may be assigned. Performs basic operator duties Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations Handling and building of corrugated products Hand tool operation Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: Qualifications High School Diploma/GED Ability to follow demonstrated directions Good communication skills Ability to read written instruction Physical Demands Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 55lbs. Stand/Walk for full shift (8-12 hours). Bend/Twist. Ability to work with both hands on a constant basis.
