Export Shipment Documentation CoordinatorWe are seeking a detail-oriented Export Shipment Documentation Coordinator to join a global leader in aerospace manufacturing. This critical role ensures the seamless movement of high-performance flight safety equipment across domestic and international borders. You will be the primary lead for coordinating shipments, managing complex export/import documentation, and ensuring 100% adherence to hazardous materials and federal trade regulations.
Role OverviewThe role involves:
Documentation Management: Prepare and manage all export/import documentation, including Shipper's Export Declarations (Form 7525-V) and related classification data.
Compliance & Filing: Utilize Automated Export Systems (AES) to file export information and obtain Internal Transaction Numbers (ITN).
Regulatory Oversight: Ensure strict adherence to EAR (Export Administration Regulations) and ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
Classification: Determine and apply proper export/import codes, including Schedule B, HTS, and ECCN classifications.
Logistics Coordination: Interface directly with customs brokers and freight forwarders; utilize carrier platforms (UPS, FedEx, DHL) for shipment creation and tracking.
Hazmat Safety: Maintain full compliance with hazardous materials regulations per 49 CFR (Domestic) and IATA (International).
Required QualificationsExperience: 3+ years of experience in international logistics, export compliance, or shipment documentation.
Certifications: Must be currently Hazmat certified under 49 CFR and IATA.
Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with AES, ITN generation, and carrier-specific software (UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, etc.).
Regulatory Expertise: Strong working knowledge of SED Form 7525-V, Schedule B, HTS codes, ECCN classifications, EAR, and ITAR.
Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage high-priority tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 Per Year
