Our work depends on Lead Engineering Manager with Cloud experience joining our team to support PIVOT-I.For this effort, GDIT will use a combination of cloud-based and on-premises products to deliver an exceptional experience to many in-office and remote government civilians. Ensuring constant connectivity, zero-trust security architecture, and a suite of cloud-based office work tools to deliver our users the tools they need to be productive.HOW A LEAD ENGINEERING MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:Building and managing a high performing team of infrastructure, operations, and cybersecurity engineersWorking daily with our teams to modernize and simplify the processes and tools we use to provision, deliver, manager, and monitor our servicesReviewing project plans and engineering solutions to ensure we integrate the latest tools and techniquesEducating teams on adoption of automation practices and tooling, and supporting those practices and toolsWorking directly with our customer to identify new problems and presenting innovative solutionsIdentifying and implementing improvements to how we securely build, deploy and monitor endpoint devicesProvide insight and guidance for the preparation and maintenance of all documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projectsPerform continual maintenance and create solutions for security, backup and redundancy problems for security and systems monitoring toolsWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:BA/BS Degree and 8+ years of experienceExpertise in Microsoft O365, Azure Active Directory, and the Microsoft messaging suiteSecurity+ CertificationBackground working within Zero-Trust ArchitecturesExperience delivering end-user computing including CM, Lifecycle Management, security, monitoring, and patchingFamiliarity with sections 508 and 504 accessibility standards, assistive technologies, and compliance testingUnderstanding of NIST requirements, auditing, and governanceU.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain requisite security clearanceGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:Full-flex work week to own your priorities at work and at home401K with company matchComprehensive health and wellness packagesInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certificationsCutting-edge technology you can learn fromRest and recharge with paid vacation and holidaysThe likely salary range for this position is $170,000 - $230,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
