Coded UI Automation

Overview In this role you will lead testing initiatives to ensure software quality across client projects. You’ll shape test strategy and plans, coordinate offshore and onsite teams, and drive automation efforts to improve delivery speed and reliability. You will work closely with stakeholders to review requirements and validate test outcomes, balancing Agile and Waterfall approaches in a dynamic IT services environment. ResponsibilitiesDefine Test Strategy and Test Plan documents aligned with project scopeLead and review test cases; obtain client signoffCoordinate offshore-onshore delivery and manage test teamsPerform requirements analysis, test design, and test executionExecute Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and Database testingDevelop and run SQL/PL-SQL scripts; ensure data validationUtilize test management tools (TFS, HP ALM) to track execution and metricsLead defect triage and report status with metrics and risk assessmentDrive automation testing using .NET-based tools and Coded UI; leverage Selenium where applicablePrepare daily/weekly status reports including pass/fail metrics and bug prioritizationParticipate in Agile and Waterfall processes and ensure adherence to methodologiesAttend client interactions to align testing outcomes with expectationsMentor and guide junior testers to improve QA practices Key requirements2–3 years of leading a testing team and managing onsite-offshore delivery4+ years of IT experienceStrong communication with client stakeholders (written and spoken)Experience with UI automation; Selenium experience preferredProficiency in .NET, C#, and Coded UIExperience with Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and Database testingSQL scripting experience; PL/SQL 2+ yearsExperience with Agile and Waterfall methodologiesExperience with test management tools (TFS, HP ALM)strong communicationstakeholder managementteam leadershipSeleniumCoded UI.NET
